Global Treatment

Aviva have teamed up with Best Doctors® to offer Global Treatment as an additional option with any Protect+ cover. For an additional £4 a month it gives you access to top medical minds and leading overseas treatment.

The Aviva Global Treatment plan covers you and your children for:

  • All cancers
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery
  • Heart valve replacement or repair
  • Neurosurgery
  • Live-donor organ transplant
  • Bone marrow transplant

Global Treatment then pays for:

  • An expert second medical opinion
  • Treatment by a renowned specialist
  • Hospitalisation costs
  • Travel and accommodation costs for you and a companion, or if your child is ill both parents (or a parent and a companion) if your child is ill, for the duration of hospitalisation overseas.
  • Cash allowance of £100 per day of hospitalisation overseas (for up to 60 days)

Fracture Cover

Should you sustain a fracture, dislocation, ligament tear or tendon rupture, you’ll benefit from a lump sum payment of up to £6,000. Only one claim is payable in each 12-month period.

From a fracture of the skull to a rupture of the Achilles tendon, this additional cover can be added to Aviva protection policies for just £3 a month.

With second opinion by Best Doctors you get:

  • Access to more than 53,000 of the world’s leading medical experts, who have been specifically nominated by other top medical specialists.

  • A second medical opinion, including, recommended treatment, from one of the world’s leading experts.

Bupa Anytime Healthline

With Bupa HealthLine you have access to medical professionals around the clock – 365 days of the year. You can talk in confidence, and as often as required, directly to qualified nurses about any health or well-being issues. 

Counselling and Carer Support Services

Provided by Workplace Options, you have access to short-term counselling and carer support services whenever you need them, and at any time during the term of your policy.

The counselling service provides:

  • Help with mental wellness issues where counselling would be beneficial, such as bereavement, work-related stress and relationship breakdown
  • Face to face or telephone based service for you and your immediate family

Lines are open 24 hours a day, every day, giving you the option to call day or night 365 days a year.
